Community School and Garden Program greeting card

The UA Community and School Garden Program is an internship-based course centered in the School of Geography and Development, a unit within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. School gardens are innovative and powerful educational tools for exploring local ecologies, nutrition, the culture and politics of food, and practical life skills not limited to horticulture.

I illustrated this greeting card for the Community School and Garden Program with the a nod toward the elementary location of the garden: the card is simple and organic in both colors and shapes. The card is used as a standard greeting card, so I designed it to be universal, for any occasion.
